Welcome to my home-page, courtesy of GitHub Student Developer
Pack (thanks, guys!!)
This is where I teach myself things like HTML
, CSS
, JS
,
PHP
and few other additional stuff, like jQuery
and such.
And this is where I will be putting some of my projects, like this CV page for myself, to create a footprint on the Internet (because you have to start somwhere!).
So, a few words about myself:
My name is MichaĆ , and I am 42 (apparently, it is never too late to start a
new things!)
- My Mac (although it's getting a bit slugginsh recently)RIP
- Role Playing Games
- My iPhone
- Font Awesome (because it really is awesome!)
- BLACK and YELLOW
- My BT Broadband, which is supposed to be fibre-optic, and is slower than my iPhone's 4G
- Being late
- Living with my in-laws
- Fact, that I can't find a (programmer/developer)'s job!
I am trying to rekindle my life-long interest in programming, this time backed up by an actual degree in
Software Development from Open University
(Bachelor's Degree - BSc (with honours) in Software Engineering.
My first and forever love was to write software, but - as it usually happens - the life wrote other
plans, and I became a Test Engineer. Well...
As for now, I am attending a Boot-camp organised by SDA (Software Development Academy) to remind myself
some Java and to learn a few new things!
What I (think I) know at the moment are (...although I am constantly proven wrong!):
- Java
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Python
- PHP
Still, those are the thing I'm getting pretty confident in now, but (as always) there's still pretty much to learn on those.
I keep writing a little snippets here and there, trying to code in my free time, doing some projects to keep my skills expanding. For now, the list above is my main focus, but the list is not complete, as there is more in line, so I need to keep practising:
- Hibernate
- MySQL and PosgtreSQL
- Selenium
- Spring
Those are all the items I have already dabbled in, but there is still a LOT to learn.
But more importantly, I am yet to finish any of my little projects, so there is a lot
to keep me going.
This is the place, where I shine. My portfolio
, if you like.
...or it will be, as there is not much to shout about, yet. But feel free to poke around, and I can only
hope you'll find something of interest.
HTML5

colours, and what I like and dis-like...

HTML/CSS/PHP
. Still learning.
Places on the internet related to me, and places I find interesting:
So, that's about that now. Let's get coding
